Biography

Joel led CPI's work on AI and the Future of Government. A qualified lawyer, he has advised senior government and judicial officers in large-scale digital court transformations. He was previously a senior associate at Victoria's Supreme Court and holds degrees in law and arts from the University of Melbourne. Joel was a Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Scholar and studied comparative jurisprudence at Tokyo's Hitotsubashi University.
