Biography

Roy Trivedy is a senior civil servant from the UK's Department for International Development (DFID). He is currently on special leave of absence while serving as the UN Resident Coordinator for Papua New Guinea. Previously he was head of civil society at DFID and he has also worked in Tanzania, Central Asia and the Caucasus, as well as on peace-building and conflict resolution in various parts of Africa. Roy joined DFID after 20 years of working for non-governmental organisations in the UK, Mozambique, India and Malawi.
