Since arriving in Australia in 1978 from England, Martin has worked in and around government, policy and public sector reform at the national, state and local level and internationally. More recently, his work has also included technology and digital disruption, fuelled by 13 years with the global leader in networking and collaboration, Cisco Systems. This stint included a role leading the Asia-Pacific team in a global strategy and innovation group exploring the application to government and the public sector of the Internet and the tools and platforms of digital transformation Martin is also focusing on social innovation as a way of developing new thinking and practice to tackle difficult and complex social challenges.
