Adina Rom is a PhD candidate in development economics at ETH Zurich as well as the founder and CEO of Policy Analytics Switzerland. She has been working on impact evaluations for a number of years and is currently conducting a randomised control trial to learn about adoption, usage and impact of off-grid solar lighting in rural Kenya. With Policy Analytics she supports NGOs and government agencies to strengthen their evidence based decision making. She has previously worked for the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at UC Berkeley and for Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in Kenya. She is a board member of the Swiss foreign policy think thank foraus and TAMTAM Africa.
