Biography

Kate Bender is a Deputy Performance Officer with DataKC, a division of the City Manager’s Office in Kansas City, Missouri, which she helped form in 2009. DataKC works to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of city services by supporting data-driven decision-making. Kate oversees administration of the City’s resident survey, employee engagement survey and business survey; data and process improvement training for City employees; and projects in partnership with department staff.
