Biography

Dhiviya serves as Regional Director at the Centre for Public Impact in Asia. She has worked as a social justice advocate in various capacities for over 20 years. Her works are grounded in lessons learnt from working with grassroots collectives, that inform her approaches to understanding structural oppression and finding collaborative solutions to alleviate the problem. This has helped her see people's capacities and wisdom to transform their lives. As a consultant, she has supported organisations to build robust programme strategies, strengthen the capacities of staff, and design training modules.

She has previously worked with organisations such as Jagori, UN Solution Exchange (UNDP), Sangat-a feminist network, and Breakthrough Trust. She holds a Masters in Social Work from the Madras Christian College and an Applied Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, Pannasastra University, Cambodia.
