22/01/2024 — The Centre for Public Impact (CPI), a global not-for-profit organisation that supports governments to address complex challenges and drive meaningful change, has announced Dhiviya David as the new Regional Director for Asia.
With an impressive background spanning around 25 years in gender and social development across South Asia, Dhiviya's expertise is a significant asset to our organisation. Her previous leadership roles at Sangat - South Asian Feminist Network and her ongoing contributions as a board member at Restless Development highlight her dedication to social justice. Dhiviya's passion for driving positive change and her exemplary leadership skills are key to advancing our mission in Asia.
“I strongly resonate with CPI's mission to reshape the formulation of policies and processes, ensuring the inclusion of voices from the most marginalised people into governance systems,” says Dhiviya.
“I hope to collaborate with individuals engaged in innovative, experimental work focused on systemic transformation grounded in principles of equity and fairness, with a specific emphasis on incorporating the perspectives of marginalised communities.
Drawing from my diverse experiences working with feminist movements and peace and conflict transformation, I aspire to apply the lessons learned to tackle complex challenges in Asia. It is truly an honour to work with this team of intelligent and inspiring individuals.”
