Richard Callaghan

Richard is the Global Director of Finance and Operations, responsible for financial strategy and operational activity. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London and has experience in a range of accounting roles, including audit, operations consultant, controller, and CFO, in the UK and US. He has worked in a range of corporate environments and the development sector with ActionAid International, Saferworld, and Invisible Children.

Richard has served on the Boards of UK-based charities in various voluntary roles, working with inner-city communities, nursery provision, travellers and learning-disabled adults. In DC he is currently a member of the Boards of Friendship Place and Treasurer for Wonders Learning. Richard moved from London to DC with his family in 2018.
