Biography

David Hutchison, OBE, has been chief executive of Social Finance since May 2009. Over this period, he has helped build Social Finance from a concept to a team of over 70 professionals drawn from social, public sector and financial backgrounds. Prior to joining Social Finance, David spent 25 years with Dresdner Kleinwort where he was most recently Head of UK Investment Banking and a member of the Global Banking Operating Committee, coordinating the bank’s activities in the UK across the full range of investment banking products.
