Biography

Christian Bason is Chief Executive of the Danish Design Centre and was formerly Director of MindLab, the Danish government's innovation team. He is also former Chair of the European Commission’s Expert Group on Public Sector Innovation. Christian Bason’s interests include design thinking as a driver for public policy and social innovation, the co-creation of policy and citizen engagement, and the promotion of ‘professional empathy’ as a skill in government.
