Bret Jacob (he/him) is the Director of Research and Development and LGBTQIA+ Liaison for Mayor Jorge O. Elorza. He is responsible for high-level oversight and programmatic deliverables of the policy team and the Healthy Communities Office. Bret leads project management of cross-cutting Mayoral initiatives and provides research, analysis, and recommendations in support of the Mayor’s overall agenda. Particularly, his research and project management focus on criminal legal system reform, from policing to municipal court.
