Alexandra Batista is the Director of Latino Affairs and Senior Advisor to Mayor Jorge O. Elorza. Alex supports citywide Neighborhood Associations and Crimewatch organizations, leads small business support, and serves as the liaison to the Latino community, leading the Mayor’s Latino Ambassador Group. Alexandra was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and came to Providence at the age of 15, becoming the first member of her family to graduate from college, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Johnson and Wales University.
