Changemakers we've partnered with
We’ve partnered with The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to design and implement a rigorous nomination and selection process for The Earthshot Prize.
The Earthshot Prize is a new global prize for the environment from His Royal Highness Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge. The Earthshot Prize will be awarding a prestigious prize to 5 winners per year over 10 years. Through this, and the winners’ work, The Earthshot Prize will provide at least 50 solutions to the world’s greatest problems by 2030.
This partnership has included working together with environmental and conservation organisations, communications and prize experts, to develop and iterate the Prize’s design, in line with The Earthshot Prize’s goal to convene, celebrate and inspire for global action to repair our planet.
Nesta are on a mission to bring bold ideas to life to change the world for good.
We’ve partnered with Nesta to research why emerging technology, like drones, needs the voice of the public on-board to really unlock its potential and be a force for good.
We’ve also helped Nesta to explore the future of foundations to understand what the challenges to foundations’ mean in practice and how foundations are responding to them today.
Bloomberg Philanthropies exists to ensure better, longer lives for the greatest number of people.
We’ve partnered with Bloomberg Philanthropies to design, deliver, and manage programs that equip city leaders with the skills to think big, be bold and uncover inventive – and, ultimately shareable – ideas that tackle today’s toughest problems.
These programs have included the Bloomberg Philanthropies Mayors Challenge, a nationwide city-based innovation competition as well as the Innovation Track part of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, a collaboration among Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Business School and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
Frontline is a charity with a mission to transform the lives of vulnerable children by recruiting and developing outstanding individuals to be leaders in social work and broader society.
We partnered with Frontline, Buurtzorg Britain & Ireland and Boston Consulting Group, to explore a radical new approach to children’s social care in England that putting relationships between social workers and families at the heart.
The Aspen Institute brings together diverse, non-partisan thought leaders, creatives, scholars and members of the public to tackle some of the world’s most complex problems.
We worked with the Aspen Institute’s Center for Urban Innovation and Boston Consulting Group, to develop our report on the Future of U.S. Cities which explored how cities can “innovate with intention” to tackle problems and create more legitimate, equitable and inclusive cities for residents.
We’re also currently working with The Aspen Institute on the Fail Forward program, to explore how local governments can create cultures of innovation that embrace experimentation, risk taking, and ‘failing forward’.
Engage Britain is a new organisation focused on tackling our country’s most complicated and divisive challenges.
We partnered with Engage Britain to explore the most innovative ways people, policy and technology work together. Our mission was to shine a light on some of the most promising examples of technology helping citizens engage over the big issues impacting the world.
The UK Cabinet Office works to support collective government, helping to ensure the effective development, coordination and implementation of policy.
We partnered with the Cabinet Office to provide a range of training and resources on policy effectiveness using the Public Impact Fundamentals, a framework for successful policy.
The UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
The UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) exists to build an economy that works for everyone, so that there are great places in every part of the UK for people to work and for businesses to invest, innovate and grow.
We partnered with BEIS to provide a range of training and resources on policy effectiveness using the Public Impact Fundamentals, our framework highlighting the drivers behind successful policy.
We’ve worked with academic institutions and public policy schools such as the Hertie School of Governance, Harvard University, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation and Nowak Metro Finance Lab at Drexel University to develop bespoke materials and tools that aim to equip the policymakers of the future with the right knowledge and tools to design and deliver impactful policies.
