Centre for Public Impact announces Natalie Creary as Regional Director for Europe

6 June 2024,  London – The Centre for Public Impact (CPI), a global not-for-profit, has announced Natalie Creary as the new Regional Director for Europe.

With a diverse background in community development and activism, Natalie brings a wealth of experience from various sectors, including voluntary, social enterprise, statutory, consulting, and academia. She has been at the forefront of tackling the deep-seated roots of inequality, leading cross-sector partnerships to adopt a systemic approach in shaping policy and practice from local to national levels.

Natalie, a passionate advocate for inclusivity and community-centred public service, is the founder of the consultancy Liberating Knowledge. She joins CPI from Black Thrive, where she spearheaded initiatives that embedded a systems change approach to address the inequities that Black people experience in mental health services.

Her commitment to these causes is further evidenced by her involvement in several boards, including the Mayor's Fund for London, the London Community Foundation, the City University Race Equity Advisory Board, and Genomics England’s Equity Panel. Natalie’s wealth of experience and passion for putting community needs at the heart of public service make her a perfect fit for leading CPI's efforts across Europe.

Natalie Creary, Regional Director (Europe) said:

"Joining the Centre for Public Impact represents a unique opportunity to build on the work I have been doing in the UK to co-produce solutions with communities, especially with groups who experience marginalisation. I am excited to lead the Europe team and build on CPI’s outstanding work to reimagine government and public services.

"I look forward to bringing together thought leaders, community activists, policymakers, practitioners, and academics to envision alternative futures for Europe. By building on the wisdom of those who came before us, harnessing the benefits of technology and nurturing a culture of care, we can collectively experiment with and implement new ways of working to ensure the flourishing of both communities and the environment across the region."

In addition to her role at CPI, Natalie lectures in Public Health at Middlesex University on health inequalities, decolonising Public Health, Quality Improvement, and design principles.

If you’re a senior leader in the public sector looking to change how you work or a funder who wants to support the voluntary and community sector to make a positive impact in the lives of their communities, please get in touch with Natalie.
