In conversation with… senior Mexican policymaker Dr César Camacho
Partnering for Learning
We put our vision for government into practice through learning partner projects that align with our values and help reimagine government so that it works for everyone.
How do governments ensure citizens feel and experience the actual benefits of reform programmes? It’s a question facing policymakers the world over, and is one that is high on the priority list of Dr César Camacho, a leading figure in the Mexican Congress, whose previous roles include serving as governor of the state of Mexico.
Dr Camacho took time out from his busy schedule to sit down with CPI’s Danny Buerkli to discuss the importance of communication as a core aspect of governance as well as the role of the legislature in ensuring that citizens benefit from government policies.
