The Centre for Public Impact and Polis180, a grassroots think tank on European and foreign policy, hosted an event at the Impact Hub in Berlin that considered the need for data-driven policymaking.

The speakers included Daniel Kirsch, mathematician, data scientist and founder of Data Science for Social Good and Arndt Leiniger, PhD student in the fields of comparative politics and applied quantitative methods at the Hertie School of Governance. Delegates included members of the German Institute of International and Security Affairs, employees from YouGov, data scientists and students from TU Berlin and Hertie School of Governance.
