Transforming ideas into solutions was the theme of the recent Public Sector Innovation Week in Brasilia, an event that featured insights from the Centre for Public Impact.

Hundreds of delegates from around the world attended this three day conference. Featuring contributions from organisations such as the OECD and IADB, discussions focused on how governments can become more innovative by deploying solutions that are creative and supported by multiple stakeholders.

Executive director of the Centre for Public Impact, Adrian Brown, shared his experiences of government innovation during the panel session “Daring to change: Removing barriers to innovation in the public sector.” In addition, Adrian joined Danny Buerkli to host a masterclass on behavioural insights in a session attended by government leaders from around the world.

Testimonials

Danny and Adrian performed a tightly coordinated duo and got the audience´s attention and imagination with a very dynamic and illustrated presentation. It was very inspiring and quite fun.

In addition to the their ability in presenting the theme and moderating the discussions, Danny and Adrian did a terrific job in provoking everyone in that room for the urgency of the use of behavioural interventions in the public sector. I was particularly drawn to that message.
